Ο απολογισμός του τυφώνα Καλμάγκι στις Φιλιππίνες ξεπέρασε σήμερα τους 90 νεκρούς, σύμφωνα με τα επίσημα στοιχεία που συγκεντρώθηκαν από το Γαλλικό Πρακτορείο γι’ αυτή την καταστροφή που προκάλεσε πλημμύρες σπάνιας σφοδρότητας.
Ο εκπρόσωπος της επαρχίας Τσέμπου (κεντρικές Φιλιππίνες) διευκρίνισε στο Γαλλικό Πρακτορείο πως άλλα 35 πτώματα ανακαλύφθηκαν σε παραλιακό χωριό, αυξάνοντας τον περιφερειακό απολογισμό σε 76 νεκρούς.

Η υπηρεσία πολιτικής άμυνας είχε προηγουμένως επιβεβαιώσει το θάνατο τουλάχιστον άλλων 17 θυμάτων στην υπόλοιπη χώρα και ο συνολικός απολογισμός ανέρχεται στο στάδιο αυτό σε 93 νεκρούς.
